But for more you will have to get familiar with the instruction. So, this marvel has three types of character, Activity, Aggression and Awareness. Each one has three levels of intensity – green, orange and red. You can feel the difference by putting your new friend to the Autonomous mode – button with the Brain picture. Now, watch it wondering over your place! With the green button activated, you robot doesn’t move much, with the red one – it keeps walking with frequent stops to scan the area. With “green aggression” the Roboquad is spooky, and with “red aggression” it is cheeky: it even will growl on you and insist on going forward.
Scanning for the robot is not a trick – it really finds obstacles and makes out its way through them, stepping forward/backward/left or right. And it also announces obstacles with motions and sounds, head nods. Small light diode in every side of the Roboquad shows the direction it moves to.
In autonomous mode the machine makes impression of living its own life, reacting on external irritants, such as sound, light, obstacle – with the help of special sensors. That is, if you clap, your robot will either jump away in fear or growl at you, depending on its aggression level. Lights intensity corresponds to the illumination type.
Funny effect will have your quick hand moving in front of robot’s face – it shakes its head, puzzled. And then tries to reposition itself better.
Not disturbed for five minutes, Roboquad passes to the sleeping mode.
In total, you have 27 autonomous styles of your Super Gift, leaving no room for boredom.
The robot can also be controlled remotely and entirely obey to your orders, in case you want to feel important and respected J
Its interesting function is a guarding mode – it can guard your place. You have seven seconds to leave the territory, if not, you risk to be uncovered! Having noticed a new object (or heard a new sound), robot reacts by a sound signal and attacks. Setting scanning distance is up to you – it’s you who determines how aware it should be.
Let me specially point out its choreography – small creature dances with lots of charm – it turns, squats with its knees inside and outside, and rises. Add here lights and sounds, to have the picture complete good partner for some party, actually!
