Now meet “Etrusco UNICO”, for Italy, 1990. This ball was the first official one to be filled with polyurethane foam inside, thanks to what the ball became quicker and entirely waterproof. It was decorated with heads of Etruscan lions, historical heritage of Italy.

In 1994 it was replaced

by “Questra” in the USA World Cup. It was competely new design, inspired by star technologies, Its energyreturinig inside layer put on completely new standards of ball obedience and softness.

What could be more modern and perfect, I ask myself? well, a new wonder appears in France in 1998 under the name of “Tricolore” – the first multicolor ball in World Cup history, symbolizing French flag and national symbol – rooster tail.  Its polyurethane cells were filled with gas, that provided better ball contact.

It is replaced in 2002 by “Fevernova” in China and Corea. First since 1978, its external design differs from the “Tango”. Colours remind of the far East symbolics, and three level textile layer promisses increased precision of the kick.

And finally the last but one – the “Teamgeist”, meaning “Teamspirit” for Germany Cup 2006. 32-pieces design became the story of the past. Its frame and pannels joined by the technology of termoglueing made surface more even and woterproveness even more waterproof, making kicks exact as never. Colours are traditional black and white, those of the German team, with golden egde for traditional FIFA colour.
